GOLD COAST Light Rail
GOLD COAST Light Rail – the government of Queensland province is building a light rail system called “GoldLinQ” (consisting of 16 stations situated along popular Gold Coast destinations, including Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Southport, Smith Street Motorway, and Gold Coast University Hospital). Portions of it will travel along the western side of Gold Coast Highway. It is scheduled to be opened in mid to late 2014.
